9-1-1 Magazine New Portal for No Cost 9-1-1 Training Programs

In a time when 9-1-1 agencies are clamoring for more training with less money 9-1-1 Magazine is proud to announce that high quality 30 and 60 minute training programs produced by the Law Enforcement And Public Safety Network (LEAPS.TV) will be available without cost and without registration on the 9-1-1 Magazine video portal.

How does an agency get the most out of this training? The Knowledge Transfer Agents at LEAPS.TV recommend that a training officer or supervisor review the programs in advance, noting areas where the program aligns with, or varies from, policy and then assigning each 9-1-1 team member to watch the program, or better, to watch the program as a group using a PC projector and speakers, and then to get together after the viewing to discuss the program and decide how best to put the knowledge gained from the program to use in your PSAP. With the phased release of the new programs it is possible to do a periodic discussion group and integrate this new training at zero cost to the PSAP.

Covering topics from 9-1-1 Quality Assurance to Officer Safety on Domestic Violence Calls and including the 9-1-1 Magazine NG9-1-1 series, the programs will be added over the next several weeks. We will announce each program as it becomes available.
