The Law Enforcement And Public Safety Network Announces two new programs:

The Traffic Stop: An NLETS Primer

A no cost, thirty minute web program, [CIS ILE] The Traffic Stop: An NLETS Primer, is now available on LEAPS.TV.

This LEAPS.TV program, a part of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) Immigration Law Enforcement (ILE) Series, takes a look at what seems like a pretty average stop - but isn't.  After following the actions of the officer through the traffic stop, this real-life case will be annotated by the Training and Education Manager for The International Justice and Public Safety Network, NLETS, who will then explore additional electronic information sharing tools available to LEOs.

This program will be available here at no charge 24x7 for the next four weeks

Please view the program and forward this information to all concerned parties.

Suspicious Activity Reporting

DOJ is asking for the assistance of all line officers in observing and reporting suspicious activity of all kinds.

LEAPS.TV is hosting a 19 minute online training program that establishes a baseline of knowledge and is a key element of the DOJ Nationwide SAR Initiative (NSI). Take this opportunity to view the brief program here.

Your registration prior to viewing the training program will put you on record as a participant in this key DOJ initiative.
