Teachable Moments in new Disaster Movie

By now you may have seen the previews for SAN ANDREAS, an earthquake disaster movie in which San Francisco plays a starring role.

Now local disaster officials are seeing this film as a teaching moment. 

USGS says they are grateful for this movie. David Ebarle, who works in San Francisco's Department of Emergency Management command post, will be seeing the movie Friday and considers it a good excuse to remind locals about being prepared for earthquakes...
