Retired US Army soldier Ron Leonard and his therapy dog Molly will be traveling about the state of Tennessee honoring 9-1-1 “Hidden Heroes” during National Telecommunicators Week, April 90-16th.

Right: Volunteer Ron Leonard and Molly travel helping 9-1-1 dispatchers cope with stress, and training other therapy dogs to respond to a crisis.

“Our therapy dog Molly makes regular visits to Nashville TN 9-1-1 communications centers bringing joy and laughter to an already stressful job,” said Ron. “We also travel with her to children's events, The Hope Lodge (American Cancer Society), Churches, Assisted Living Facilities, etc. Molly and I also travel helping other 9-1-1 communications centers and training other therapy dogs to respond to a crisis!”

Molly recently passed 1700 visits making a lasting difference in reducing stress and brightening the days of those she visits.

They would love to stop by if and when they're in your area. Ron welcomes other inquiries concerning visits on other occasions as well.
