ESi Acquisition, Inc. and the Vox Generation Group are pleased to announce the launch of the first new software product of their joint venture company, Boards Talk, LLC.
Boards Talk™ powered by WebEOC® introduces a direct “voice-to-machine” interface between the award-winning Interactive Voice Response (IVR) technology of VoxGen and WebEOC® Professional from ESi, the most widely used crisis information management software in the world.
Simply stated, Boards Talk powered by WebEOC allows users to dial a phone, connect to WebEOC Professional and verbally post information to WebEOC status boards.
“With the launch of this new product, WebEOC becomes the first crisis information management system to offer an interactive voice response solution,” said Jerome DuVal, ESi VP. “Boards Talk powered by WebEOC doesn’t require an Internet connection or special training. It greatly enhances first responders’ mobile reporting abilities.”
“Not all emergency response personnel will have a computer in the field, but most will have a phone. With WebEOC only a phone call away, now they can update critical information from anywhere. It’s an incredible step forward in emergency management,” Mr. DuVal added.
This first release of Boards Talk powered by WebEOC includes tools for shelter management, facility status updates and personnel tracking activities. The software is offered as a subscription service, and custom development of other WebEOC boards and tools is available from ESi. For an online demonstration, contact ESi at 706.823.0911, or e-mail sales@ESi911.com.
